Bullard Vertical Turret Lathe
Bullard has been around for a while. The company has been making products for over one hundred years. But it has also changed hands a few times as well. Generally speaking, these machines are rock solid, stoutly manufactured. We have worked on projects modernizing these older machines, specifically helping restore the guide ways, refurbishing the ball screws, and replacing end bearings. This work was done in conjunction with other companies that specialize in CNC controller retrofits. There is that saying, “They do not build them like they used to.” Bullard is one of those machines. Vertical turret lathes are not the only product they make. They also have a vertical boring mill, Mult-au-matic, the Maxi-mill, and the Dynatrol series.
