Testing Mitsubishi Cut Accuracy
This image was taken after twin X Axis ball screw repairs to a 1989 Mitsubishi LXP 3015 CNC Laser. This machine was cutting terrible out of round holes. They looked like eggs with flat sides. After refurbishing the two NSK external rotation bearing type ball screws, we were able to restore the machine's cut accuracy to brand new. The pin gauge set proved it.
We can apply this to any ball screw based CNC motion system. Especially machines like Mazak, Cincinnati, NTC, and other laser systems.
